MURRIETA, Calif. —
Emergency crews responded to a rollover traffic collision late Tuesday morning along California Oaks Road, where a vehicle came to rest on its roof near a gas station.
Murrieta Fire & Rescue units were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:38 a.m. following reports of an “expanded traffic collision,” according to incident data.
Upon arrival, first responders located a gray SUV overturned on the landscaping embankment adjacent to the sidewalk near the Shell gas station and 7-Eleven. The vehicle sustained significant damage, with side-curtain airbags deployed.
Personnel from American Medical Response (AMR) and Murrieta Fire & Rescue Engine 1 and Engine 5 responded to the incident. Emergency crews were observed evaluating individuals at the scene. The crash resulted in injuries of unknown severity.
The cause of the collision is currently under investigation.
