Emergency crews responded to a reported overdose late Wednesday night at a Motel 6 in Temecula, according to officials on scene.
The incident occurred at the motel on Moreno Drive. Riverside County Fire Department units, including Engine 12 and Engine 84, responded along with American Medical Response paramedics and deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Approximately six sheriff’s patrol vehicles were observed at the location during the response.
One patient was transported from the scene by ambulance. A sergeant with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirmed at the scene that the call involved an overdose.
Additional details about the patient’s condition or the circumstances leading up to the incident were not immediately available.
Authorities remained at the location while the situation was being handled.
