Riverside County Sheriff’s Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force recovers 37 missing children

A coordinated weeklong child recovery operation led by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force resulted in the safe recovery of 37 missing juveniles and the arrest of seven suspects, including one federal arrest related to child sex trafficking, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.Riverside County, which spans approximately 7,303 square miles and is home to more than 2.5 million residents, reports between 5,000 and 6,000 runaway or missing children each year.
