Hardy and Harper given Buck/Warren Road resurfacing contract

Hardy and Harper has been awarded the construction contract to resurface Buck Road and Warren Road between Rancho California Road and Borel Road. A 5-0 Riverside County Board of Supervisors vote March 24 awarded the Lake Forest company a $1,371,910 contract for the work. The supervisors also approved a total budget of $2,189,000 for the project which includes $203,000 of past design and environmental expenditures as well as the construction contract amount, $281,000 for construction engineering and inspection, $105,000 for surveying expenses, and a $137,191 contingency. Buck Road becomes Warren Road at East Benton Road. The segment between Rancho California Road and Borel Road is 1.2 miles. The two-lane road is 26 feet wide and is classified as a Mountain Arterial Road in the circulation
