Supervisors appropriate funds for new Lake Elsinore library amenities

The corner of Main Street and West Sumner Avenue will be the site of the new Lake Elsinore branch library, and an April 14 Riverside County Board of Supervisors action approved funding for library amenities.The City of Lake Elsinore contracts with the County of Riverside for library services, and the supervisors’ 5-0 vote approved in principle the amenities for the new library at Main Street and West Sumner Avenue and added the amenities to the county’s Capital Improvement Program. The supervisors’ action also budgeted $1,000,000 for the fixtures, furniture, materials, computers, and equipment.
