EVMWD approves support agreement with West Yost for salt and nutrient management plan

The Elsinore Valley Municipal Water District board approved a support agreement with West Yost for the district’s Elsinore Groundwater Management Zone salt and nutrient management plan. The board’s 5-0 vote May 14 authorizes a $740,590 professional services contract to provide support for the implementation of the Maximum Benefit Salt and Nutrient Management Plan. The agreement covers support for Calendar Years 2026 through 2030, although post-monitoring activity creates a contract expiration date of July 31, 2031, and the contract includes a one-year option extension.
