Black Voices of the Valley is busy organizing a two-day event to celebrate Juneteenth for guests to gather for a time of culture and family fun. Family Park Day will be on June 19 from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Mary Henley Park, 801 S. Kirby St., in Hemet. There will be a DJ, artists, food, a Kids’ Zone, plus a beer and wine garden for the adults.June 20 will feature a Concert in the Park event from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at Golden Era Golf Course, 19871 Gilman Springs Rd., in San Jacinto. Both events have free admission.BVOV is seeking interested food and retail vendors for the June 19 event and food vendors only for the June 20 event.
