Schuler Constructors, Inc., has been awarded the Eastern Municipal Water District contract to replace the wet well lids at the Sanderson Lift Station.The EMWD board voted 3-0 June 3, with Jeff Armstrong and David Slawson absent, to approve a $617,225 contract with Schuler Constructors for the work. The action also approved total appropriations of $690,000 and found the alteration of existing facilities with negligible or no expansion of use to be categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act review.The Sanderson Lift Station was constructed in 2004 and is in the 100 block of North Sanderson Avenue in the City of San Jacinto.
