Shane Boyle thought it’d be fun to try.Boyle, a 16-year-old high school varsity baseball player from Anza, California, invented the board game Run For President. The game is about satirical, crooked politics, where each player becomes a former U.S. President, such as Abraham Lincoln or Thomas Jefferson, with the goal of reaching 50% voter popularity to win.Players increase their popularity by delivering speeches, collecting endorsements and using mascot cards, while opponents try to derail campaigns through humorous actions such as spreading rumors, bribery, skipping turns, and even fictional "assassination" cards.Boyle initially came up with the game in the 8th grade
