Supervisors approve CID funding

Includes: Boys and Girls Club, Care Solace, Menifee VFW, Temecula Rotary, Oak Grove, Green Acres Interactive Therapy, Lake Elsinore and Murrieta chambers

The allocation of Community Improvement Designation funding during the June 9 Riverside County Board of Supervisors meeting included allocations to the Boys and Girls Club of Southwest County, the City of Temecula’s Care Solace program, Menifee’s Veterans of Foreign Wars post, Rotary Club of Temecula, Oak Grove Institute Foundation, Green Acres Interactive Therapy, the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce, and the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce.Because the organizations are in two different supervisorial districts separate votes were taken for the use of District 2 funding and District 3 funding, and both votes were 5-0. The $1,500 for the Lake Elsinore Valley Chamber of Commerce is from the District 2 budget of Karen Spiegel. The District 3 budget of Chuck Washington provided $1
