The Wildomar City Council has approved an extension of deadlines for improvements to the city's future 20-acre park near Palomar Street and Gierson Avenue.The council voted 5-0 on June 10 to amend agreements with the former property owner, allowing more time to complete required improvements while the city finalizes park design and secures approvals from outside agencies.The park, purchased by the city in 2023, is planned to include trails, picnic areas, exercise stations, community and pollinator gardens, a disc golf course, bird observation areas, restrooms and other recreational amenities.
