Temecula City Council authorizes bid process for Great Oak Trail lighting

The Temecula City Council authorized the advertisement for bids for the Great Oak Trail Lighting Project. A 5-0 vote on July 14 authorized the county’s Department of Public Works to solicit construction bids for the project. The city council action also approved the contract documents and found the repair and maintenance of existing facilities to be categorically exempt from California Environmental Quality Act review.The project will install 75 solar-powered lights along the Great Oak Trail adjacent to the northeast side of Pechanga Parkway from Deer Hollow Way to Loma Linda Road, which is a distance of approximately 1.70 miles or 8,976 feet.
