A motorcyclist was transported to a local trauma center with injuries of unknown severity Friday night following a collision with a car at a major Winchester intersection.
Cal Fire crews responded to the crash at the intersection of Domenigoni Parkway and Winchester Road at approximately 8:54 p.m. on July 31. According to initial reports, the collision involved a green Pontiac Grand Prix and a blue Suzuki motorcycle.
Upon arrival, firefighters found the rider down at the scene. Paramedics with American Medical Response treated the rider before transporting them to a nearby trauma center with unknown injuries.
The California Highway Patrol remained on the scene late Friday to investigate the cause of the collision.
