Temecula City Council approves time extension for Fourth Street hotel

The Temecula City Council approved a time extension for public improvements associated with a planned four-story hotel on Fourth Street.The city council voted 4-0 August 11, with Matt Rahn absent, to approve the time extension. The public improvements must now be completed by April 18, 2028. The time extension covers roads, water and sewer facilities, and other infrastructure; the hotel or other lot improvements themselves are not required to be completed by that date.The hotel’s four stories do not include underground parking. The city’s Planning Commission approved a development plan application for the hotel in the 41900 block of Fourth Street on April 18, 2018.
