The Murrieta Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating an “at-risk” 14-year-old girl who has been missing since Tuesday afternoon.
Brooklyn Salvesen was last seen on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2026, at 3:40 p.m. in the area of Nighthawk Way in Murrieta. At the time of her disappearance, she was described as wearing a black jacket, black shorts, and black shoes, and was carrying a black backpack.
Police describe Salvesen as 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing 120 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. She is also noted to have multiple facial piercings.
Authorities urge anyone who spots her to call 911 immediately. Anyone with leads or information regarding her current whereabouts is asked to contact Murrieta Police Detective Campbell at 951-461-6307 or via email at NCampbell@murrietaca.gov.
The department is tracking the investigation under case number MR26-4054.
