The metal band Helsott which includes Menifee resident Eric Dow was the final act at the Brick by Brick nightclub in San Diego.The August 13 Bye Bye Buenos concert (Brick by Brick was on Buenos Avenue) featured The Undertaking, Blackcast, and Cascade Effect before concluding with Helsott. “We were given the honor of being the last band to play,” Dow said.Helsott performed seven songs during their final set at Brick by Brick. One of those is about a 12-minute song, and the band played for approximately 40 minutes.“It was super emotional but fun,” Dow said.The venue became Brick by Brick in 1995. A property owner's decision shut down the nightclub, so the Brick by Brick ownership may obtain another suitable venue elsewhere but the music at Brick by Brick ended August
