Great Oak High School played girls tennis matches on three consecutive days September 1-3 and concluded that stretch with a 3‑1 season record.The Wolfpack, whose previous match was an August 18 home win over Linfield Christian, lost a 17-1 match September 1 in Riverside against Martin Luther King. Great Oak then won an 11-7 home contest September 2 against Redlands and defeated Centennial in a 15-3 match September 3 in Corona.“We regrouped, played real well,” said Great Oak coach Ray Fisher.The CIF has a policy prohibiting competition or practices in excessive heat.
