Murrieta Valley High School’s girls volleyball team improved the Nighthawks’ season record to 17-5 with two victories to begin Southwestern League play.The Nighthawks hosted Murrieta Mesa in a September 14 match and defeated the Rams in 25-22, 25-15, and 25-16 sets. Murrieta Valley was also the home team September 16 against Vista Murrieta and obtained a 25-23, 25-10, 25-15 triumph.“We have an extraordinary group of girls who are competitive and willing to work for every point.
