Oak Grove Community Center flea markets bring neighbors together year-round

The Oak Grove Community Center is keeping its doors open for fun and fundraising with twice-monthly flea markets, drawing neighbors and visitors alike to browse, shop and enjoy a festive community atmosphere.Organizers Dave Redewill and Kelly Collard, who have rejuvenated the historic center, said the markets will continue year-round on the second and fourth weekends of each month, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.“We have an expanded menu as well, including egg salad sandwiches and bruchetta,” Collard said.Vendors - who can sell for free - offer a variety of goods, including homemade soaps, local honey, handmade jewelry, art, vintage items, clothes, collectibles, toys, tools and antiques.
