Once the escrow process is completed, a portion of a parcel currently owned by the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District will be sold to the Eastern Municipal Water District.The Riverside County Board of Supervisors, whose board members are also the board of the Riverside County Flood Control and Water Conservation District, voted 4-0 on December 16, with Jose Medina absent, to approve the real property sale. Eastern will purchase approximately 9,600 square feet of land in Temecula near Murrieta Creek for $5,800 and will also pay all transaction costs the flood control district will incur.The 9,600 square feet are currently part of a parcel totaling 21,606 square feet, which equates to 0.496 acres. The land is in the City of Temecula between Jefferson Avenu
