The Anza Baptist Church will offer a series of three-week sewing workshops beginning Monday, March 23, designed to bring creativity and community together for the ladies of Anza and surrounding areas.“I’m excited to offer these fun sewing classes at Anza Baptist Church,” said organizer Julie Nevills. “Each sewing workshop consists of three separate classes, and you will complete one project each class period.”The workshops are designed for beginners, with projects that are simple, usable and enjoyable. Participants will make items such as bread basket liners, tortilla warmers, quilted hot pads, toiletry case rolls, purse tissue holders, coffee cup sleeves, fabric storage bins, coaster sets, and garden aprons.Sewing machines will be set up in the church’s new sewing
