
One person died early Tuesday after a vehicle crashed into a fence, according to dispatch information from the California Highway Patrol.
The collision was reported at approximately 12:32 a.m. in the 39000 block of DePortola Rd., according to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.
Initial dispatch logs indicated a white pickup truck struck a fence. Emergency communications later noted the driver was found unresponsive.
Responding personnel coordinated access to the crash scene from De Portola Road and requested additional resources, including the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, according to incident details.
By about 1:13 a.m., dispatch records indicated the coroner had been notified and was en route to the scene. Logs also showed authorities had contacted family members through a volunteer notification process.
