The County of Riverside will be resurfacing part of Briggs Road, and an agreement with the City of Menifee will allow the county’s contractor to apply slurry seal treatment on 1,936 linear feet of the street within Menifee city limits.A 5-0 Riverside County Board of Supervisors vote July 28 approved the agreement between the county and the city. The city will reimburse the county for the construction and administration costs; including a $3,000 contingency the city’s reimbursement amount would be $34,390.The slurry seal treatment in Menifee will involve two contiguous segments. The segment from Scott Road to approximately 532 feet north of Scott Road is 532 linear feet by 24 feet wide.
