St. Martha hosts Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree exemplification

The first-ever Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree exemplification in Riverside County took place August 22 at St. Martha Catholic Church in Murrieta.“It went really well,” said Padre Pio Assembly faithful navigator Rice Berkshire.The Knights of Columbus was founded by Connecticut priest Michael McGivney in 1882 and now has more than 17,000 parish-level councils worldwide. The first three Knights of Columbus degrees focus respectively on charity, unity, and fraternity. In 1900 the Knights of Columbus added the Fourth Degree which emphasizes patriotism.Fourth Degree members of the Knights of Columbus meet at the assembly level.
