Anza’s Sacred Heart Catholic Church hosted a talented band of role players that performed a live Easter Passion play for the church’s parishioners, visitors and friends Saturday, April 8. Conducted entirely in Spanish, the performance reenacted the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and didn’t miss a beat during the emotional performance. The talented troupe of actors were from Saint Elizabeth of Hungary Church in Desert Hot Springs.Father Kien opened the play with peaceful words and a short prayer.
