
The Assistance League of Hemacinto has long served the needs of students in the San Jacinto Valley through its Operation School Bell program, funded with proceeds from its Hemet thrift store. Other philanthropic ventures are its Teen Parents Support Program and scholarships for higher education. Pre-COVID, the nonprofit hosted an annual fashion show fundraiser featuring upscale fashions from its shop to support its outreach efforts.The all-volunteer organization is preparing for a “Show of Fashions” Saturday, May 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. which is returning after a two-year hiatus caused by the pandemic.
