The Regional Water Quality Control Board rescinded the RWQCB waste discharge order for the SCP Educational Resort of Southern California.The unanimous RWQCB vote May 11 doesn’t exempt the Aguanga facility from waste discharge restrictions but rather incorporates the facility in the 45100 block of Highway 79 into the County of Riverside’s Local Agency Management Plan for on-site wastewater treatment systems. The discharge requirements will be regulated by the county’s Department of Environmental Health.The SKP on-site wastewater system collects water from 298 recreational vehicle spaces and restrooms.
