As a means to get ready for the tough season ahead, the Lady Pumas of Chaparral High School took to the courts at Citrus Valley High School this past weekend. It didn’t take long for Chaparral to show dominance as they took out Saugus High School (25-15, 25-16) to begin the tournament. Next up they defeated Oak Hills High School 25-17 and 27-25 in a tighter match, but now the cylinders were firing in all directions as they went on to take out Granite Hills High School, who didn’t put up much of a fight, as the Lady Pumas prevailed 25-6 and 25-12.
