Murrieta’s Rebecca Branch named to Biola University volleyball team

LA MIRADA – Rebecca Branch of Murrieta has been named to the 2019 Biola University volleyball team. Branch, who will graduate this year with her nursing degree, will be a setter on the Eagles’ roster. Competition for Biola University is scheduled to begin Thursday, Sept. 5. The senior setter, who is a graduate of Chaparral High School, will join Murrieta Valley High School alum Savannah Hilde, a junior at the university.The Eagles are led by 18-year head coach, Aaron Seltzer, and finished second with a 15-5 record in the PacWest Conference last year.This summer, Biola was granted full membership by the National Collegiate Athletic Association into their Division II. Full membership in NCAA Division II affords Biola University teams the right to compete in NCAA postseason events
