Hamilton football team succumbs to Escondido Charter 34-28

The Hamilton Bobcat football team battled Escondido Charter School Friday, Sept. 13. The Bobcats had a tough test for their home opener game, succumbing 34-28Escondido Charter came to Anza fresh off a 41-22 win against O’Farrell Charter School; however, the Bobcats were prepared and fought hard from start to finish.The offense looked nearly unstoppable as Dakota Lassen (1) led the team with nearly 200 yards rushing and three touchdowns. Tyler Haar (14) ran in a two point conversion and threw a touchdown and a two point conversion to receiver Michael McCalister (19). Defensively, two young sophomore linebackers led the team in tackles. Rafael Marquez (18) and Hunter Blackmore (32) both had six tackles each including a tackle for loss.[gallery td_select_gallery_slide="slide"
