Spectrum Employee Community Grant Program gives $1,000 award to Hemet’s Salvation Army
HEMET – Spectrum announced a donation of $1,000 to the Salvation Army Hemet Corps, as part of the company’s community philanthropic program, Spectrum Employee Community Grants.The Salvation Army Hemet Corps provides food to low-income families on weekends to help hungry children while they are not in school. In partnership with 16 local schools, families are given food that includes a bag of four easy to prepare, healthy meals and snacks on Fridays.The $1,000 Spectrum Employee Community Grant award was presented Sept. 12, to the Salvation Army during a food packing event at their facility in Hemet.
