A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Murrieta Wednesday morning, police said.A call came in to Murrieta police just after 7:15 a.m. reporting a collision at the intersection of Jefferson Avenue and Cherry Street involving a single biker.Officers and Murrieta Fire Department personnel headed to the area and found a 32-year-old man suffering from serious injuries. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.After a preliminary investigation, police believe the biker was heading west off the French Valley Parkway off-ramp from Interstate 15 – which turns into Cherry Street just past Jefferson – when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed west of the intersection.No one else was injured in the crash.
