Murrieta to host 100 teens for ‘Manufacturing Day’ event

Murrieta high school students will be given a chance to tour two manufacturing facilities and the city’s innovation center Friday, Oct. 4, as part of the city’s Manufacturing Day event.About 100 students from Murrieta Valley High School will head to the Cryoquip – which produces cryogenic vaporizers and industrial gas equipment, according to its website – on Jefferson Avenue at 9:30 a.m., then head to Waterstone Faucets on Raintree Court for another tour, Murrieta Deputy Director of Development Services Scott Agajanian said.The day will end with a jobs-based panel discussion about manufacturing at the Murrieta Innovation Center – the city’s business incubator.The event, cosponsored by California Manufacturing Technology Consulting, is intended to provide teens with
