Hundreds turn out to Peltzer Farm for pumpkins, fundraiser

The temperature cooled Saturday, Sept. 28, just enough for it to actually feel like a fall day in Temecula, and it was the perfect weather for Peltzer Family Farm to debut the annual pumpkin patch.It was also an opportunity for the community to support a charity at the adjacent Peltzer Family Cellars’ second annual Stomp Out Cancer event, which this year benefited Charity for Charity, a wish-fulfilling organization in Temecula.The big celebration at the farm featured everything from train rides to pig races and a scavenger hunt.Later in the day, attendees could sign up for the grape stomp for adults and children, crushing the tiny fruit for a chance to win prizes.Adults wh
