Caltrans announced Monday that emergency work was being done on a stretch of southbound Interstate 15 in Wildomar and the freeway would be limited to one lane of traffic from now until at least midnight. The emergency slab repair is in the No. 3 lane, but will affect the majority of the lanes. Traffic, especially during rush hour times, will be lengthy and officials recommend commuters use Interstate 215 or State Route 74 to avoid long delays.
