Man accused of stealing car out of Murrieta is charged

RIVERSIDE (CNS) - A man accused of stealing a car and possessing burglary tools was charged Wednesday with auto theft, among other offenses.Raul Hernandez Peres, 25, was arrested Saturday when he was stopped by Riverside County sheriff's deputies patrolling near Highway 74.Along with the auto theft count, Peres is charged with receiving stolen property, burglary, possession of burglary tools and driving on a suspended license.He made his initial court appearance today before Superior Court Judge David Gunn, who appointed him a public defender and scheduled his arraignment for tomorrow morning at the Riverside Hall of Justice.Peres is being held without bail at the Cois M.
