2 hospitalized with injuries suffered in Lake Elsinore house fire

LAKE ELSINORE – Firefighters in Lake Elsinore needed about 40 minutes to extinguish a fire that sent two people to a hospital.Crews responded to the 33000 block of Lime Street about 6:40 p.m. Thursday and located a home fully involved with fire, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.Two people were injured and taken to a hospital, the department said.The extent of their injuries was not disclosed. A third patient was evaluated at the scene and refused treatment.The fire was contained about 7:20 p.m.The cause of the fire was under investigation.
