Murrieta Preparedness Fair shines light on importance of readiness

MURRIETA – With over 50 booths displaying a wide variety of emergency preparedness items and information, along with representation from Murrieta Fire and Rescue and Murrieta Police, the 2019 Emergency Preparedness Fair was among the best in Southern California in recent years, organizers said. This service project was organized by community-minded volunteers and featured booths educating those attending one everything from solar ovens to water preparation and storage. Also highlighted at the event were blood donation, Mylar meals, essential oils, bee rescue and education, child safety and ID cards, special needs compliance, firearms and ham radio training, flood safety training, crisis response, 7
