Wildomar wants public input on proposed gun range

The city of Wildomar opened a monthlong public comment timetable Tuesday, Nov. 5, by releasing the initial study and mitigated negative declaration for the proposed Wildomar Shooting Range and Academy to be located at the southeast corner of Mission Trail and Bundy Canyon Road. In an email distributed to the community, the city provided links to the study and informed that all comments on the project must be submitted by 5 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 4. The shooting range will include the construction of a 38-foot tall, two-story indoor shooting range and academy with a first floor spanning 29,286 square feet.
