2 pedestrians seriously injured in hit-and-run crash

JURUPA VALLEY (CNS) - Authorities today were searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash in Jurupa Valley that sent two pedestrians to a hospital.The crash occurred at 7:40 p.m. Friday as the two pedestrians were walking in the area of Mission Boulevard and Pedley Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.Riverside County sheriff's officials said the driver did not stop and fled the scene. No description of the suspect vehicle was given.The victims suffered serious injuries and were taken to a hospital, fire officials said.
