CORONA (CNS) - The Riverside County Coroner's Office publicly identified a 35-year-old Pomona woman who was fatally struck by a vehicle on northbound Interstate 15 in the unincorporated Temescal Valley area of Riverside County near Corona.The fatality was first reported about 1:20 a.m. Wednesday near Temescal Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.The body was reported in the No. 1 lane of the freeway and vehicles were swerving to avoid it, witnesses told the CHP.Paramedics arrived at 1:35 a.m. and declared Jessica Espinoza dead at the scene, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.The driver involved in the accident exited the freeway at Temescal Canyon Road and cooperated with officers, according to the CHP.
