Brown Bag Lunch Workshop offers free basic sales and use tax seminar

ANZA – The Highway 371 Business Association offers its monthly education series known as The Brown Bag Lunch Workshops Thursday, Feb. 20, at noon. The topic is “Be Business Savvy about Basic Sales and Use Tax.”Attends will learn if they need a seller’s permit, how to prepare a return, maintaining adequate records, using a resale certificate, supporting and reporting exempt sales and more.President Annika Knoppel said, “Highway 371 Business Association is a membership-based 501(c)6 nonprofit corporation.
