Anza Community Hall welcomes new president

The Anza Community Building Board of Directors met Thursday, Jan. 9, at the Community Hall and chose Mike Patke to replace outgoing Hall president Johnathan Schmidt. Patke, a previous Hall board director, will continue to work closely with secretary Noel Donahue, treasurer Barbara Ann Keller, vice president Keith Richardson and directors Terry Gormley and Kimberlee Patke. There are three vacancies on the board at this time. “Upon my resignation, Mike Patke was nominated to be president by majority vote,” Schmidt said. “I have no doubt he will continue to help the Community Hall grow, and he has my continued support, as does the entire board of directors.” Patke has been meeting with local organizations to promote the Hall. “I’ve been out introducing myself to the lo
