VALLE VISTA (CNS) - The coroner's office today released the name of a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a vehicle in the unincorporated community of Valle Vista.The collision occurred about 7:05 p.m. Saturday in the 45000 block of Highway 74, near Grant Avenue, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and later identified as Erik Herrera, 36, of Hemet, according to the coroner's office.The crash was under investigation.
