Construction crews for Autobahn Construction took advantage of an earlier lull in the rainy weather last week to begin filling and the decorative stamping the raised medians along Hemet’s Florida Avenue/Highway 74 from Dartmouth to Hemet Street.The $13 million California Department of Transportation work from Valle Vista’s Mountain Avenue (Ramona Expressway) to Hemet’s Acacia Avenue, may be slightly ahead of schedule with the median pouring and stamping originally to begin next month on the Hemet portion of the project. June is expected to become the end of the project.Granite Construction continues its contracted work on the western portion of the highway from Hemet to Interstate 215. Granite is widening some of the highway and working on the median curbing.Rain predicte
