Wildomar adopts roadside cleanup program

The Wildomar city council Wednesday, March 11, approved and authorized city manager Gary Nordquist and his staff to continue work with the implementation of a community cleanup program with support from community volunteers.“The city will be working with volunteers to sponsor litter cleanup, probably on the days that we do the community cleanup citywide,” Nordquist told the council. “That’s typically the first Saturday in May and the first Saturday in November. The waste haulers supported that idea because they have all the equipment in the city.“The second component is the city would be providing two other organizations in the city, churches, clubs, the city would provide the vests, the tools, the gloves, the bags if those organizations want to sponsor their own communit
