Menifee says pandemic is causing delays for new development, including Krikorian project

The economic uncertainty brought on by the coronavirus pandemic is affecting planned commercial and residential development in Menifee, city officials announced.In a statement from April 20, city staff said of the 225 development projects that are currently in progress, they could point to a few that are already seeing construction delays and other problems due to the pandemic crisis.The Fairfield Inn and Suites project that broke ground last July “has experienced a delay in supplies and materials, as well as workforce needs,” the city said in its statement, but added that work was continuing to advance on the project.“We are pushing ahead, and crews have been working through these delays, and hope to wrap up the project soon,” Hiral Patel, Sagemont Hotels president, is
