RIVERSIDE — Riverside County Public Health officials reported 856 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday, a single-day record for the county, and more than 110 more than the next highest one-day total of 745 on July 1.  Riverside County also reported nine deaths associated with the virus, which brings the total number of deaths from the virus to 515 since the county began recording data back in early March. On the bright side, there were 12 fewer people that were hospitalized on Wednesday than Tuesday, for a new total of 506. The county reported 122 of those patients were in intensive care units, two more than the day before. Overall, 9,072 people have recovered from the virus, 176 new recoveries than the day before, and so far, the county has tested 268,613 residents. Locally on T
