Pair arrested for allegedly carrying drugs, gun in car in Wildomar

WILDOMAR (CNS) - A young man and a teenager were arrested today in Wildomar for allegedly transporting packaged marijuana for sale in a vehicle in which a loaded weapon was found.An 18-year-old Murrieta man and a 17-year-old boy were taken into custody about 4:30 a.m. following a traffic stop in the area of Clinton Keith Road and Inland Valley Drive, just east of Interstate 15, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Joe Narisco.The man was booked into the Byrd Detention Center in Murrieta on suspicion of possession of cannabis for distribution and illegal possession of a firearm, while the teen was booked into Riverside Juvenile Hall on the same allegations, as well as driving under the influence.The 18-year-old was released on his own recognizance a few hours later.
