Sheriff’s Department releases body camera footage of Eastvale shootout

EASTVALE (CNS) - The Riverside County Sheriff's Department on Wednesday released video of a November shootout between a suspect and deputies at a home in Eastvale. Deputies shot 43-year-old Jose Alfredo Gonzalez after he barricaded himself in his home and fired at authorities outside, who were sent to the 14000 block of Alpaca Court on a report of "unknown trouble," according to the department. In a 911 call released Wednesday, a woman can be heard pleading "don't shoot." Deputies who responded to the home about 3 a.m. Nov. 14 found the man armed with a gun, and when they tried talking to him, he barricaded himself inside the home, Sheriff Chad Bianco said.
